One of the perks of spending so much time roaming the streets of London is the amazing array of food on offer around the city. We count ourselves very lucky to find pretty much every type of cuisine on our doorsteps just waiting to be tried and tested (it’d be rude not to, right?).
A few weekends ago we found ourselves wandering around Leicester Square in need of refuelling after several hours of standing around in front of brick walls, cameras in hand. Luckily, we were only a few minutes walk away from Nonna’s Kitchen, a family run eatery offering traditional Sicilian dishes and, most importantly for us, fresh cakes and pastries made daily.
With a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and a great choice of food options we were pretty spoilt for choice; both opting after a lot of indecision (so unlike us) for simple pasta dishes which were quick to arrive and big on flavour.
Naturally, we were more concerned with the prospect of cake and ice cream to follow – which didn’t disappoint. If you’re heading to the West End to catch a show then we thoroughly recommend checking this place out for a pre-show dinner or coffee and pastry combo!
